Terms of Service

Welcome to The Model Club ("we," "us," or "our"). By creating an account or using our platform, you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the platform.

1. Eligibility & Age Requirement

You must be at least 18 years of age to create an account and use The Model Club. By registering, you confirm that you are 18 or older and legally able to enter into these Terms.

2. Account Types

The platform offers two primary account types:

• Model accounts — for individuals seeking castings, mentorship, and community participation.
• Brand accounts — for companies, agencies, or casting directors seeking to post castings and discover models.

You must select the account type that accurately reflects your role. Misrepresenting your role may result in account suspension.

3. Membership Tiers

Models may choose between the following tiers:

• Free — basic access to the directory, community feed, and public castings.
• Academy — prioritized directory placement, comp card builder, early-access castings, workshops, and mentorship booking.

Brands may subscribe to Brand Pro for casting submission management and enhanced visibility.

4. Membership Billing

Membership fees for Academy and Brand Pro tiers are billed externally through our third-party payment provider. We do not process membership payments directly on the platform. Your billing relationship, including charges, renewals, and invoices, is governed by that provider's terms.

5. Payments Between Brands and Models

Any compensation, payment, or financial arrangement between a brand and a model for a casting, photoshoot, or any other engagement takes place entirely outside of The Model Club. We do not facilitate, process, guarantee, or take responsibility for such payments. You are solely responsible for negotiating and executing payment terms directly with the other party.

6. Your Content

You are responsible for all content you upload, including photos, comp cards, profile information, and community posts. You retain ownership of your content but grant us a license to display it on the platform for the purpose of operating the service.

7. Acceptable Conduct

You agree not to:

• Post false, misleading, or fraudulent information;
• Upload content that infringes another's rights or is unlawful;
• Harass, threaten, or discriminate against other users;
• Use the platform for any commercial purpose other than its intended casting and networking functions;
• Attempt to circumvent tier restrictions or platform security.

Violations may result in content removal, account suspension, or permanent termination.

8. Castings & Applications

Castings are posted by brands and applications are submitted by models. We do not guarantee that a casting will result in a booking, nor do we verify the accuracy of every casting detail. Exercise due diligence before accepting or pursuing any opportunity.

9. Termination

You may delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or if we believe your activity harms the platform or its users.

10. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

The platform is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for interactions between users, the outcome of castings, or any off-platform arrangements, including payments.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
